"e." is the story of a hitman [David Barnes] who has become disillusioned with his place in the world. Though his physical powers are at their peak, he is mentally and emotionally weary and becoming increasingly unable to handle the cost of the lives he so expertly takes away. His quest to find balance in his life and add a sense of purity, creates a path that is impossible for him to predict or control. For the first time in his life, he must decide whether to fight for control of his destiny or submit to the whims of karma, which now wears the face of a beautiful young woman that he has fallen in love with and is giving himself over to [Patricia Cajuste]. Has his past been too dark for redemption? Will the ghosts he thought he has left behind find greater strength in his new weakness? Is it that he's gone too far, caused too much pain, to ever be able to find solace?
Writer Steven Jacobs makes his Directorial debut with a classic, pulsating Neo-Film Noir that raises questions about trust, love, commitment, and the lengths people will go to both hide from their past and also seek revenge.
